Job summary

Atlas Copco Group's Quincy Compressor customer center in Houston, United States, is seeking a Field Service Technician to service on-site customer equipment and travel within the assigned area to keep systems running reliably and safely.

You will inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors and components, diagnose issues to prevent downtime, perform maintenance with safety compliance, and be the on-site contact for customer needs.

Qualifications

• You have a valid driver's license.
• You have 3 years of experience as a technician.
• You have expertise in mechanical, electrical, or electronic repair.
• You can supply all basic required hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various air compressors and components.
• Diagnose issues to prevent equipment downtime and perform maintenance.
• Be the on-site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.
• Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool with other Technicians as scheduled by the Service Manager.

You join the Customer Center Service team and report into the Operations Manager.

• Perform maintenance, ensure safety compliance, and document activities.
• Be the on-site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.
• Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool with other Technicians as scheduled by the ServiceManager.
