Job summary

You will join a field service team serving customers in Tampa, FL, traveling to sites to service air compressors and related equipment. You will report to the Service Manager and handle service tasks from installation to repairs, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Expect to work a remote role with a dedicated territory, including a 24/7/365 on-call rotation, and receive a competitive compensation package with health insurance and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience as a technician.
  • Expertise in mechanical, electrical, or electronic repair.
  • Customer-focused with ownership of customer needs.
  • Able to supply basic required tools.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, auto drains, flow controllers, vacuum pumps, and blowers.
  • Pressure wash and clean equipment pads and areas.
  • Communicate with customer and Service Manager; present repair options.
  • Complete all work orders, forms, and slips (start-up, warranty, oil samples, returns).
  • Train and assist other Service Technicians.
  • Promote safety and PPE use; follow procedures.
  • Set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed.
  • Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool.

To best serve our customers, we are increasing our presence within our field service area. This supports our mission in providing safe and high-quality service that is performed with great efficiency to our customers. As a Field Service Technician , you are an important part of this mission. You will be close to your customers and service our products to provide a great customer experience. You will report to the Service Manager. You will troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers (regenerative and refrigerated), auto drains, flow controllers, vacuum pumps, and blowers You will pressure wash (where possible) and effectively clean the customer’s entire equipment pad including skids, coolers, concrete, tanks, etc. You will communicate with the customer and Service Manager regarding all services performed and clearly present all options for any required repairs, upgrades, or other customer needs You will completely fill out all work orders, start-up forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return slips You will train and assist other Service Technicians You will promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal and protective equipment You will set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed You will participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool with other Technicians as scheduled by the Service Manager

Your skills and experience
  • You have a valid driver's license.
  • You have 3 years of experience as a technician.
  • You have expertise in mechanical, electrical, or electronic repair.
  • You are customer-focused and take ownership of meeting the customer's needs.
  • You can supply all basic required tools
