Job summary

Quincy Compressor is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver skilled on-site service, repair, maintenance, and support for customer equipment. You will join a field service team and travel within your area to ensure uptime and safe operation.

Based in Dallas, TX, you will report to the Service Manager and participate in a rotating on-call schedule while building expertise with our equipment in real-world conditions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a technician.
• Experience repairing mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
• Ability to supply all basic required hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair on-site air compressor systems; diagnose issues to prevent downtime.
• Perform maintenance, ensure safety compliance, and document activities.
• Be the on-site contact, provide service recommendations and address customer needs promptly.
• Participate in rotating 24/7/365 on-call with other technicians.

Your role

Your mission is to deliver skilled on-site service that keeps our customers’ equipment performing reliably and safely. You use your expertise to repair, maintain, and support the technology they depend on. Through your work, you help customers secure the uptime and performance they need to run their operations with confidence. You join the Customer Center Service team and report into the Operations Manager.

Your day-to-day

• Conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various air compressors systems and componets. You will also diagnose any issues to prevent equipment downtime.
• Perform maintenance, ensure safety compliance, and document activities.
• Be the on-site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.
• Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool with other Technicians as scheduled by the ServiceManager.

Your Skills And Experience

• You have a valid driver's license.
• You have 3 years of experience as a technician.
• You have expertise in mechanical, electrical, or electronic repair.
• You can supply all basic required hand tools.

Your location

You will be part of our Quincy Compressor customer center in Dallas, United States (US). You join a field service team that works close to our customers, where most of your time is spent traveling within your assigned area to support them on-site.
