Job summary

Lonestar Truck Group in Jackson, Missouri, is seeking a Service Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in a dealer setting.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in truck dealership service, with Cummins/Detroit Diesel or Heavy-Duty certifications preferred, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Ability to work as part of a team, a strong safety focus, and willingness to engage in OEM training opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Cummins, Detroit Diesel and/or Heavy-Duty certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years truck dealership experience.
  • Freightliner experience helpful but not required.
  • Flat rate/commission experience preferred.
  • CDL preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Own necessary basic tools.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards and company policies.
  • Work in a dealership setting with adherence to quality and safety guidelines.

Role

An opportunity for a Service Technician currently exists in our Jackson, Missouri dealership. The focus of this position will be to perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with company and manufacturer standards. Detroit, Cummins, and/or ASE Heavy Duty certifications preferred with a minimum of three years truck dealership experience required.

We are looking for a technician who will be a dependable, responsible team player with the right skill set and a positive attitude. People who are passionate about providing the highest level of customer service will surround you every day.

Responsibilities

The role involves performing repairs and maintenance on vehicles in compliance with manufacturer standards and company policies. Work is conducted in a dealership setting with adherence to quality and safety guidelines.
