Roberts Truck Center in Amarillo, Texas is looking for a Service Technician to conduct diesel equipment repairs and preventive maintenance in a retail dealership environment. Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma, technical training, and at least three years of commercial truck technical service experience.
The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, performing detailed repairs on trucks, and ensuring all vehicles meet safety and quality standards. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.

Duties are performed throughout the inside and outside of the building(s). Employee is exposed to dirt, dust, heat, cold, noise and vibration, fumes and odors, wetness and humidity, and sometimes darkness. Employee is required to stand, walk, kneel, squat, crawl, bend, and twist. Employee may have to climb and/or lift up to and over 80 pounds frequently. Visual requirements are constant. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Due to the nature of the environment, employee is exposed to potential mechanical, chemical, electrical and fire hazards on a regular basis.
