Job summary

Lonestar Truck Group in Memphis, TN is seeking a Diesel Mechanic/Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance to manufacturer standards. The role requires hands-on work on heavy-duty trucks and a commitment to customer service.

Ideally, candidates will hold Cummins and/or Detroit Diesel certifications and have at least three years of truck dealership experience; CDL A is preferred and own tools are a plus. We offer comprehensive benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Cummins/Detroit Diesel/other heavy-duty certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years truck dealership experience required
• Freightliner experience is helpful but not required
• Flat rate/commission experience preferred
• CDL Class A preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned to manufacturer and company standards
• Utilize certifications and diagnose/heal heavy-duty trucks on site
• Ensure safety and quality of repairs and customer service
• Maintain tools and keep work area organized

An opportunity for a Service Technician currently exists in our Memphis, Tennessee dealership. The focus of this position will be to perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with company and manufacturer standards. Detroit, Cummins, and/or ASE Heavy Duty certifications preferred with a minimum of three years truck dealership experience required.

We are looking for a technician who will be a dependable, responsible team player with the right skill set and a positive attitude. People who are passionate about providing the highest level of customer service will surround you everyday.
