Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to perform mechanical and technical work to maintain the physical aspects of the property, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality for residents and common areas.

The role includes completing work orders, preventative maintenance, make-ready tasks, material management, and coordination with vendors, with emphasis on safety and efficient operation. Onsite housing discounts are among Greystar’s benefits.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• State and Local certifications as required by jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance following safety standards and code requirements.
• Complete the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and supplies.
• Access and obtain materials from the property maintenance department and track inventory.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities; clean, paint curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts when possible and proper use of tools and materials.
