Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Used Car Technician to join our team at Honda of Fishers in Fishers, Indiana. As a Full Time Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing used vehicles to ensure they are in top condition for our customers. This is an individual contributor role and requires a high level of expertise in the auto industry. Responsibilities:

- Perform thorough inspections on used vehicles to identify any potential issues or needed repairs
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems on vehicles
- Complete routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all work performed on vehicles
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management regarding vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working on vehicles
- Stay up to date on the latest automotive technologies and techniques through continued education and training

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an automotive technician
- Must have your own tools
- Strong technical and mechanical skills
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- ASE certifications are a plus
