Job summary

Polk Mechanical Company is seeking a Service Technician - Fire Protection to inspect, test, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial fire sprinkler systems. You will diagnose system issues and perform corrective repairs while following NFPA codes and industry standards.

Responsibilities include documenting inspections, communicating findings to customers, coordinating service calls, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fire sprinkler service experience preferred.
• Ability to read service tickets, inspection reports, and system drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

• Ensure compliance with NFPA codes, AHJ requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and equipment.
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times.

Polk Mechanical is seeking a Service Technician - Fire Protection responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair offire sprinkler systems in existing commercial and industrial facilities. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, professional customer interaction, and knowledge of applicable fire codes and standards.

• Inspect, test, service, and repair fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFP A standards Diagnose system issues and perform corrective repairs
• Replace sprinkler heads, valves, gauges, fittings, and related components
