Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial fire sprinkler systems for existing customers in Fairfax, VA. You will respond to service calls, diagnose issues, perform repairs, and document work clearly for clients.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on sprinkler experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and good communication skills to work independently and in a team. On-call rotation provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of fire sprinkler service, repair, installation, or related field experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls for commercial fire sprinkler systems
• Troubleshoot system issues and identify deficiencies or needed repairs
• Service and repair sprinkler heads, valves, piping, switches, gauges, and related components
• Perform repairs and maintenance on wet and dry sprinkler systems
• Work with pre-action systems when applicable
• Perform fire pump testing and service when required
• Complete accurate service reports and documentation
• Communicate system conditions, repair needs, and completed work clearly with customers
• Maintain assigned tools, equipment, and company vehicle
• Participate in an on-call rotation as needed

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on sprinkler experience, solid troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while providing professional service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot system issues and identify deficiencies or needed repairs
• Service and repair sprinkler heads, valves, piping, switches, gauges, and related components
• Perform repairs and maintenance on wet and dry sprinkler systems
• Work with pre-action systems when applicable
• Perform fire pump testing and service when required

Requirements

• 2+ years of fire sprinkler service, repair, installation, or related field experience
• Strong working knowledge of commercial fire sprinkler systems
• Experience servicing wet and dry sprinkler systems
• Pre-action system experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to identify system deficiencies and determine appropriate repairs
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to work from ladders and lifts and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills
