Job summary

Window World of Long Island is expanding our service team and seeking a skilled Service Technician/Field Supervisor. You will perform service, warranty, and repair work on windows, doors, siding, roofing, and related exterior products at customer homes.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, communicate clearly with homeowners, and collaborate with installation and customer service teams to ensure satisfaction. A valid driver's license and physical ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential construction or related trades preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily service appointments.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer homes to perform service, warranty, and repair work on exterior products.
• Diagnose and resolve product, installation, and performance-related issues.
• Perform adjustments, repairs, replacements, and touch-up work as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide exceptional customer service.
• Clearly communicate findings, solutions, and recommendations to homeowners.
• Document service calls, completed work, and materials used.
• Work with installation, production, and customer service teams to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in a clean, organized manner.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing product and technical training.

At Window World of Long Island, we provide premium products, professional installations, and honest pricing. Our Service Technicians play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by performing service work, warranty repairs, adjustments, and troubleshooting for windows, doors, siding, roofing, and other exterior home improvement products.
