Job summary

Logopak Corporation in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to install, commission and maintain industrial print-and-apply labeling systems across North America. You will troubleshoot equipment, conduct operator training and act as a bridge to our German engineering team.

The role requires hands-on experience with industrial machinery, pneumatic and electrical systems, and travel across North America.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with industrial machinery or related technical environments.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and repair skills for mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Proficient with diagnostic and measuring tools (multimeters, calipers).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

We’re hiring an experienced Field Service Technician to represent our U.S. operations in Charlotte. This Field Service Technician role combines hands-on field service for industrial print-and-apply labeling systems with local logistics and ERP responsibilities. You’ll be a technical lead for customers and the operational bridge to our German engineering team.

Field Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Installation, commissioning and maintenance of industrial print-and-apply labeling systems at customer sites throughout North America.
• Troubleshooting, repair and optimisation of labeling equipment in manufacturing environments.
• Delivery of operator and maintenance training for customer personnel.
• Remote customer support via phone, video and online troubleshooting sessions.
• Management of the Charlotte spare parts hub, including receiving, staging, packing and shipping of spare parts.
• Maintain accurate ERP inventory records and support quotes, orders and parts requests.
• Processing service reports, parts requests, incident logs and technical documentation within the ERP system.
• Perform minor equipment repairs and functional tests at the Charlotte office.
• Cooperation with engineering and service teams at our German headquarters.
• Provide feedback to engineering and suggest improvements for spare parts stocking and service processes.

Your Profile:

The ideal Field Service Technician will have:

• 2+ years of experience with industrial machinery, electromechanical systems, pneumatics, robotics or similar technical environments.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and repair skills for mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Confident use of diagnostic and measuring tools such as multimeters, calipers and basic mechanical tooling.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and willingness to work with ERP systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to explain technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
• Independent and well-organised working style with the ability to manage schedules and parts inventory with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout North America.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Experience with German-manufactured equipment, PLCs, barcode systems or labeling software is an advantage.
