Position Summary

The Service Technician is responsible for supporting the oversight of physical assets and ensuring customer satisfaction. This includes diagnosing problems, performing repairs, assisting with apartment make-readies, and supporting preventive maintenance and construction projects. The role requires a strong commitment to excellent service and professional representation of the company.

Essential Job Functions

• Complete repairs and maintenance in a timely manner using industry-specific technology.
• Handle maintenance requests, including HVAC troubleshooting and make-readies.
• Identify and report hazards to ensure safety.
• Follow preventive maintenance programs and maintain documentation.
• Maintain property-issued tools securely.
• Communicate effectively with residents and team members, including posting notices and sharing on-call responsibilities.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety regulations, and stay informed about relevant codes and policies.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of maintenance and safety experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Own industry-specific hand tools.

Work Schedule & Physical Requirements

Monday-Friday with possible overtime and on-call duties. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, full range of motion, manual tasks, and exposure to weather conditions.
