Siddons-Martin Emergency Group is seeking a General Service Technician in Houston, TX. The role focuses on daily service interactions, diagnosing and repairing vehicles, and upholding the company mission of profitability and customer satisfaction.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in automotive service, a clean CDL Class B license, and ASE certifications are a plus. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Enforce company policies as defined in SMEG Handbook.
• Interact with service staff and maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Perform vehicle diagnosis, services and repairs.
• Provide accurate labor times and parts lists to supervisors.
• Participate in quality checks and follow operations manual.
• Report potential problems to management and coordinate with vendors.
• Maintain timely and legible reports and paperwork.
• Plan daily work in morning meetings and support productivity goals.
