Job summary

Anaheim Hyundai is hiring a Service Tech at the C Level. The role pays a flat rate of $28 per hour and involves maintenance, repairs, and recon work on used vehicles. Expect schedules that include early starts and varied shifts Monday through Saturday, with coaching from the Service Manager.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in express/quick lube, basic automotive skills, and Hyundai/Genesis exposure. A Hyundai certification is preferred, along with a valid driver’s license and a strong

• 1+ years of experience as an express/quick lube technician.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Experience with Hyundai or Genesis.
• Hyundai Certification is preferred.
• Operate different car models, light trucks, and vans.
• Capable of operating manual and automatic transmissions.
• A focus on accuracy, efficiency, and completing assigned tasks.
• A team player focused on providing outstanding customer service.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (changing engine oil and filters, tire rotations, engine/cabin air filter replacement).
• Work in the recon shop working on used vehicle inventory.
• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, following manufacturer standards.
• Complete repairs without oversight.
• Diagnose cause of minor malfunction.
• Communicate vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the assigned service advisor.
• You’ll be reporting to the Service Manager and receive ongoing coaching.

Total Rewards

The Flat Rate Hourly Pay for this position is $28.

This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes Bonuses based on Production Productivity.

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
