Job summary

Lithia Motors' Anaheim Hyundai is hiring a Service Technician - C Level to join our service team. You will perform oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections on Hyundai/Genesis models, following manufacturer standards with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

You’ll report to the Service Manager, work a 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm schedule, and be eligible for a flat-rate pay of $28/hour plus production-based bonuses. A valid driver’s license and Hyundai/Genesis experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of express/quick lube technician experience.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Experience with Hyundai or Genesis preferred.
• Hyundai Certification preferred.
• Proficient in operating different car models, light trucks and vans.
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Strong focus on accuracy and efficiency in task completion.
• Team player with customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, filters) per repair orders.
• Work in recon shop on used vehicle inventory.
• Complete repairs with accuracy following manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose minor malfunctions and communicate repair recommendations to the service advisor.
• Report to the Service Manager and receive coaching.

What You’ll Do

Perform preventative maintenance (changing engine oil and filters, tire rotations, engine/cabin air filter replacement). You’ll work in the recon shop working on used vehicle inventory. Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, following manufacturer standards. Complete repairs without oversight. Diagnose cause of minor malfunction. Communicate vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the assigned service advisor. You’ll be reporting to the Service Manager and receive ongoing coaching.

What You’ll Bring

• 1+ years of experience as an express/quick lube technician
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Experience with Hyundai or Genesis.
• We prefer Hyundai Certified.
• Operate different cars models, light trucks, and vans
• Capability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• A focus on accuracy, efficiency, and completing assigned tasks.
• A team player who is focused on providing outstanding customer service.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

Total Rewards

The Flat Rate Hourly Pay for this position is $28. This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes Bonuses based on Production Productivity. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
