Job summary

LITHIA & DRIVEWAY is seeking a seasoned Mainline Automotive Service Technician for Suburban Hyundai of Troy. You will perform repairs per repair orders, diagnose malfunctions, and ensure safety standards are met as part of a collaborative, efficiency-driven team.

This on-site role offers a pay rate of $30-$50 flat rate (experience dependent) and a schedule to be discussed during interview. You’ll pursue ASE certifications and maintain tools and documentation while delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications required.
• Automotive knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
• Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools
• Complete all required training.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training.
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management.
