As a Class B Technician, you'll perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles while working alongside a team that values quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, and continuous professional development.

What You’ll Do

• Perform repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer and Lithia standards.
• Diagnose vehicle concerns and identify the cause of malfunctions.
• Complete all work efficiently, accurately, and safely.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure quality standards are met.
• Document repair procedures, findings, and test results on repair orders.
• Accurately track labor times using company timekeeping systems.
• Maintain and manage your personal inventory of required hand tools.
• Properly use and return special tools and shop equipment.
• Utilize shop supplies and materials responsibly and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Ensure customer vehicles are returned in the same clean condition received.
• Complete required manufacturer, dealership, and compliance training.
• Earn and maintain applicable manufacturer and ASE certifications.
• Review technical bulletins and stay current on repair procedures.
• Effectively communicate with service advisors, technicians, and other dealership personnel.
• Report safety concerns or issues impacting the dealership, team members, or customers.
• Maintain professional appearance and comply with dealership uniform standards.
• Adhere to scheduled work hours, attendance, and break policies.

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of automotive service technician experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Proven experience performing: Preventive maintenance and lube services Engine repair Suspension and steering repairs Brake system repairs Electrical system diagnostics and repairs Heating and air conditioning repairs Engine drivability diagnostics (preferred) Manufacturer training and certifications preferred.
• ASE certifications preferred (minimum of three ASE certifications strongly desired).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
