Lithia & Driveway is seeking an experienced used car technician for L0379 BMW of Sterling in Sterling, VA. This full-time role offers pay from $25.00 to $40.00 per hour under a flat-rate structure, with Saturday availability and reporting to the Shop Foreman/Production Manager and Fixed Ops Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience.
• Proficient in steering, suspension, brakes, and diagnostics.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver's license.
• ASE certifications are a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on domestic and import vehicles.
• Diagnose vehicle issues and complete repairs safely.
• Test-drive vehicles to ensure quality repairs.
• Track time and document all work performed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and return vehicles clean.
• Complete required training and maintain certifications.
• Stay current on technical updates and manufacturer information.
• Communicate effectively to support customer satisfaction.
• Report safety, ethical, or operational concerns to management.
