Job summary

Gosiger seeks an apprentice level technician in Warrendale, PA to learn troubleshooting, installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of machine tools. You will work with an experienced team to develop technical skills, document work, and ensure safety standards on every site visit.

The role requires travel for training and customer sites, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends. Company-provided benefits support job growth and safety.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or 2 years related experience in machine tools maintenance.
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record; ability to operate company or personal vehicle.
• Passport valid; travel for training and customer sites.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Good interpersonal communication.
• Professional appearance; self-starter with planning and organization skills.
• Team player; cross-department collaboration.
• Able to use PC and job-related software for documentation/records.
• Physical requirements: bending, lifting, dirty environment.
• Willing to work flexible hours including weekends/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Pursue apprentice level training or vendor certification.
• Participate in on-the-job training including installations, showroom prep, repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain high quality standards and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on installation/service procedures.
• Communicate with customers about arrival, progress updates and checkout.
• Document and report required information for work records.
• Maintain current technical and communication skills through ongoing development.
• Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of company property.
• Support other tasks within department as needed.
