Responsibilities
- Under direct supervision, assist in installations, repairs, and maintains propane equipment for retail customers.
- Develops knowledge and trains on how to load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane to and from specified destinations.
- Assists in inspecting vehicles and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance.
- Under direct supervision, assists in preparing and maintaining records in accordance with regulations and company procedures. Operates truck in accordance to established safety procedures.
- Under direct supervision, during daily interaction with customers provides exceptional customer service by supplying service/safety information and answering inquires.
- Will be required to train with team members who are working on call rotation for after hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response as needed.
- Once qualified, may be required to drive a Bobtail truck base on business needs and/or "On Call" rotation
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Under direct supervision, may work on propane appliances when needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to obtain Commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with hazmat and tanker endorsement if not currently obtained
- Good driving record
- Proficient in speaking, writing, and understanding the English language.
- Commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or B license with hazmat and tanker endorsement preferred.
