About the Role

We are seeking a Commercial HVAC Apprentice. As an HVAC Technician Apprentice, you will assist experienced Service Technicians in installing and repairing environmental control systems, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration, control systems, pipe fitting, and structural layouts. This position offers direct work with a leading manufacturer, providing access to technical support, training, and growth opportunities.

Work Arrangement

Remote within the Greenville, SC area, with dispatch to various locations for work.

Training Program

Opportunity to join our highly regarded Trane Commercial HVAC Technician Apprenticeship Program (TAP), a four-year, nationally registered program through the US Department of Labor, including paid instruction and on-the-job training. Successful participants earn industry credentials and promotion to HVAC Service Technician.

Candidate Requirements

• No prior industry experience required; relevant technical training is a plus
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with minimal violations
• Strong desire to learn and impact the industry

Compensation

$23 - $26.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Ability to operate a vehicle safely
• Use of safety gear and equipment, physical agility, and ability to work in variable conditions
