Job Description

The Lube Technician is expected to:

• Protect the legal, financial, and moral well-being of the dealership.
• Perform lube, oil, filter, and multi-point service for customer vehicles.
• Support other employees' success by acting as a teacher.
• Seek ways to improve business operations, efficiency, and customer service.

Primary Duties

1. Ensure maximum productivity, customer service, and cost control. Perform all lube, oil, filter, and multi-point inspections to ensure proper diagnoses. Assess any additional vehicle needs. Perform quality service at all times and notify management of substandard processes, parts, or procedures. Maintain clean vehicles during all servicing and repairs. Achieve customer satisfaction through prompt, accurate service, and communication. Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to OSHA/EPA requirements. Perform all job duties requested by management.
2. Operate with integrity by demanding high ethical standards, setting an example of professionalism, maintaining a neat, orderly, and safe work environment, and demonstrating outstanding attendance and attitude.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent recommended but not required. One year experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice. Valid driver's license and MVR within company policy. Local state inspection license.

Physical Requirements: Work in a shop setting, exposed to weather, noise, dust, odors, fumes, chemicals, and adhesives. Must lift up to 100 lbs. Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, handle objects, and operate tools. Occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and focus adjustment. Operate equipment and move vehicles safely.
