Job summary

Ace Parking in San Diego is seeking a Service Technician to install, program, service and maintain security access systems and related equipment for our clients. You will ensure projects meet specifications, maintain profitability, and deliver exceptional service while upholding company values.

You will lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for extended periods, read blueprints and wiring diagrams, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation roughly one week per month.

Qualifications

• Experience with IT systems and low voltage wiring.
• Familiar with access control, video surveillance and intercom systems.
• Able to read plans, manuals and technical specifications.
• Strong computer skills and networking basics.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, service and maintain security access systems (Parking Access Control, EV charging, CCTV, intercom).
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Possess valid California driver’s license with clean record; operate company vehicles.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation; approx. 1 week per month.
• Document daily tasks with clear descriptions and track time for billing.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams; ensure scope compliance.
• Coordinate with customers, teammates and subcontractors to meet project goals.
• Maintain tools, work area and safety compliance per OSHA.
