Job summary

HCI Systems, Inc in San Diego, CA is seeking a skilled Security Service Technician to inspect, test, service and repair Access Control, CCTV and Intrusion Systems in medium and large commercial buildings.

You will respond to service calls, install and troubleshoot systems, read blueprints, and coordinate with customers and other contractors. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required; MS Office proficiency is needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communications skills, using tact and diplomacy with customers.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and scheduled service calls for Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Systems.
• Test systems after repairs to ensure performance.
• Perform maintenance service calls at customer sites.
• Install, diagnose and repair wiring and control panels for security systems.
• Read blueprints, diagrams and specifications; interpret manuals.
• Assist customers on site and communicate with other contractors.
