Job summary

Securitas Technology, a leading security solutions provider, is seeking an Installation Technician in San Diego, CA. You will install intrusion, fire, CCTV and access control systems at customer sites and handle post-installation service needs.

Required 1–2 years' experience with security systems, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. A High School Diploma is mandatory; technical training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control and CCTV security systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical degree preferred.
• Certifications in Lenel, Pro-Watch, Software House, or Picture Perfect are a plus.
• Willingness to work on-call on a rotational basis including after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Installs intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control security systems.
• Runs electrical wiring in attics, crawl spaces and confined areas; may involve drilling and trenching.
• Completes wiring, connections and equipment installations to satisfy contractual requirements.
• Tests systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with codes.
