Job summary

Securitas Technology Corporation is seeking an Installation Technician in San Diego, CA. You will install and service intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems at customer sites, coordinating with project leadership for scheduling and delivery.

Responsibilities include wiring, testing, and ensuring compliance with codes. A valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and on-call rotation are required; high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience installing/servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, CCTV security systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• Certifications in Lenel, Pro-Watch, Software House, or Picture Perfect are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control security systems.
• Run electrical wiring in attics, crawl spaces, and confined spaces.
• Complete wiring, connections, and installations to meet requirements.
• Coordinate with Lead/PM on scheduling and timely equipment delivery.
• Test systems to ensure operation and compliance with codes.
• Troubleshoot installations to ensure proper functionality.
