Team Auto Group's Team Chevrolet GMC Salisbury in Salisbury, NC is seeking a B-Level Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles with minimal supervision.

You will perform diagnostics across engine, electrical, transmission, braking, and HVAC, complete service orders, and uphold safety standards in a high-volume shop.

The position offers strong hours, sign-on bonus up to $10,000, and a path to grow with manufacturer-certified training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
• Dealership experience preferred; GM experience a plus
• Ability to perform diagnostics and repairs independently
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and service equipment
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and HVAC
• Conduct routine maintenance services in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify vehicle issues
• Complete repair orders with proper documentation of work performed
• Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and correctly to minimize comebacks
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members regarding repair status
• Assist with more complex repairs under the guidance of senior technicians as needed
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

Position Summary:The Automotive Service Technician (B-Level) is responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Chevrolet and GMC vehicles. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay range: $25.00 – $50.00 per hour, based on experience, certifications, and productivity
• Sign-on bonus: Up to $10,000, based on experience and certifications
• Work schedule: 40–60 hours per week, based on business needs and technician productivity
