Job summary

Madera-Toyota-Chevrolet is seeking a skilled Chevrolet Service Technician to join our service department in Madera, CA. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair customer vehicles, delivering quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

Experience with Chevrolet or GM factory work is a plus, but not required. If you have strong automotive repair and diagnostic skills and are eager to grow, we encourage you to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and HVAC systems.
• Perform routine maintenance services and manufacturer-recommended inspections.
• Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs.
• Accurately document inspections, repairs, and recommendations on repair orders.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and repair information to accurately identify vehicle concerns.
• Work closely with Service Advisors to ensure timely communication and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow dealership policies, safety procedures, and repair standards.
• Participate in training opportunities to continue developing technical skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned by dealership management.
