Job summary

Stream-Flo Industries seeks a Field Service Technician to assemble, test, and repair wellhead equipment in the field. You will prepare field service tickets, maintain parts inventories, and promote service-oriented sales while building strong customer relationships. Safety leadership and on-call availability are essential.

The role requires travel, a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation, and a valid driver’s license. NSTC certification and a high school diploma or GED are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant field experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• This is a rotation position; travel to support company and customer needs is required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, and test equipment; troubleshoot and repair.
• Prepare field service tickets and job reports.
• Maintain inventory levels of spare parts for service and rental tools.

• Follow safety analyses and act as a safety leader on the job.
• Install and/or remove equipment per procedures.
• Must be available on a 24-hour call basis.

Key Position Functions Include

• Assemble, disassemble, and test equipment, performing troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
• Prepare accurate field service tickets/job reports and other administrative forms as required.
• Maintain inventory levels of spare parts for service and rental tools.
• Promote and perform any field service-oriented sales and maintain a confident customer relationship for the company.
• Must be receptive to and able to comprehend training received on new related processes.
• Conduct job safety analysis and work as a safety leader in every aspect while performing duties.
• May assist in developing job action planning with customer on location.
• Install and/or remove equipment in accordance with applicable technical procedures.
• Must be available on a 24-hour call basis to respond to customer needs.
• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
• Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Preferred Candidate Will Possess a Combination Of The Following

• Excellent operational and maintenance knowledge of Wellhead equipment.
• 5 years of relevant field experience
• NSTC Training Certificate
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Mechanical aptitude
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• This is a rotation position of 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off; must be available to travel to support company and customer needs as required.
