Job summary

Stream-Flo is seeking an Assembly Technician to contribute to the assembly, testing, and finishing of valves and wellheads in a fast-paced oilfield equipment environment. You will apply name plates, paint or coat components, and ensure accurate documentation in accordance with work orders.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma and experience with API gate valves, with a strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and willingness to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Oilfield equipment experience preferred.
• Experience building and testing API gate valves.
• Ability to install, repair and work on all major Wellhead equipment.
• Strong knowledge of wellhead and flow control products.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Assemble valves and wellheads.
• Test valves and wellheads.
• Apply name plates and stamping as required.
• Paint or coat valves and wellheads.
• Follow work order traveler requirements.
• Assist shipping and receiving when needed.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.

• Assist shipping and receiving when required

Preferred candidate will possess a combination of the following:

• Prefer high school diploma or equivalency.
• Previous oilfield equipment experience is preferred.
• Previous experience building and testing of API gate valves”
• Ability and willingness to install, repair, and work on all major kinds of Wellhead equipment.
• Strong Knowledge of wellhead and flow control products.
• Ability to read and write English
• Adherence to safety policies and procedures
• Must have reliable transportation and able to work flexible hours
