We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Technician based in Jacksonville, AR.

POSITION SUMMARY

Service Technicians maintain outstanding customer service while performing skilled operational duties related to the installation, repair, and maintenance of natural gas distribution facilities. This includes manual labor, handling customer requests, and representing the company in the community.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Initiate gas service, perform leak investigations, and make repairs
• Locate gas lines
• Read gas meters
• Conduct load surveys
• Complete work order documentation
• Serve as First Responder in emergency situations
• Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Proficient with personal computers and MS Office applications
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to use proper tools
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
• Work independently and in teams
• Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
• Position is covered under D.O.T. regulations and drug testing policies
