Job summary

Windows & Doors by Brownell in Vermont is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and support window and door installations. You will inspect products, replace components, and communicate findings with customers, while maintaining safety and documentation on every job.

The role requires 1+ years of relevant experience, strong troubleshooting, and a valid driver's license. We offer a full-time schedule, competitive benefits, and training opportunities in a 100% employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational carpentry training preferred.
• 1+ years of window and door installation, carpentry, remodeling, construction, service, or a related trade.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical jobsite work.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Starting Pay: $27.00 per hour (based on experience)

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair window and door performance issues.
• Inspect products and identify root causes of service concerns.
