Job summary

On Point Heating and Cooling LLC in Wendell, NC is seeking a dependable HVAC Service Technician to install, service, and repair residential and light commercial systems. You will troubleshoot heat pumps, gas furnaces, split systems, and package units with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

The role requires at least 3 years of field experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs, with after-hours on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years HVAC experience as a Service Technician required.
• EPA Certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC systems, residential and light commercial applications
• Troubleshoot/diagnose HVAC issues and repair/replace parts needed
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
• Conduct field service calls to assess client needs and provide timely solutions
• Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure seamless operation of HVAC systems within buildings
• Keep accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients

What You'll Do:

What You'll Need:

• Minimum 3 years HVAC experience as a Service Technician required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
• Participation in rotating after-hours on-call schedule
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and varying weather conditions
• Ability to use mobile apps/tablets for service documentation
• HVAC system repair experience (split-systems, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, etc.)
• In-person customer service experience
• EPA Certification preferred
