Job Description

Provide superior field support on Renewal by Andersen products by performing services and doing technical measures prior to installation as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Service and repair previously installed Renewal by Andersen products.
• Analyze and resolve complex or escalated customer situations, determine corrective action and verify the action has fixed the situation in a cost‑efficient and effective manner.
• Keep team members informed as needed of customer interactions and actions taken to resolve service issues.
• Follow established Renewal processes, make recommendations for process improvement, stay current on RbA product and installation process changes, write technical tips for Renewal installation or service, and help maintain an updated service procedure manual.
• Keep the service area neat and organized, inventory the service stock area of the warehouse, request material replenishment as needed, and provide detailed information to Service CSRs.
• Accurately measure dimensions and determine installation processes for windows and doors, and provide accurate measurements and documentation of job‑related circumstances in a timely fashion.
• Provide installation solutions that match customer expectations of cost and effectiveness, and adapt product specifications to the installation requirements using thorough knowledge of all Renewal products.
• Confirm details within the quoted sales contract to assure customer expectations are in alignment with product and installation process.
• Have advanced knowledge of RbA window and door installation techniques and the ability to correct installation errors.
• Complete and submit required paperwork that is neat, accurate, thorough, and completed in a timely manner; portray a professional image with clothing, vehicle, and personal actions within the home; and provide a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualification And Skill Requirements

• High school degree and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Renewal installation experience.
• Meets the skills and competency requirements needed for Service Technician I.
• Ability to service and repair previously installed windows & doors, dismantle and reassemble windows, door components, window coverings, and hardware.
• Demonstrated analytical problem‑solving and decision‑making skills; follow a systematic approach in situational analysis and definition; arrive at acceptable solutions.
• Ability to train others on technical application and product requirements.

COMPENSATION

Pay is based on several factors including work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Successful candidates are expected to earn between $27.76 and $41.64 hourly.

Pay Range

$27.76 – $41.64

PROFIT SHARING

In 2026 Andersen has set a profit‑sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
