Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Service Technician in Garner, NC for full-time work installing and servicing vending and merchandising equipment at client sites. The role emphasizes hands-on repairs, preventative maintenance, and strong client relationships.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, educating customers on equipment use, ordering parts, and maintaining equipment across designated areas. A valid license and reliable drive are required; CDL is not necessary.

• Experience in repair of automated vending and merchandising equipment or small appliances preferred.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and make repairs.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Previous experience in the repair of automated vending and merchandising equipment or small appliances preferred
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Technical ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and make appropriate repairs
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and customers
• Valid Driver's License (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment when needed
