Job summary

Superior Plus Propane in Oilville, VA is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team. You will perform propane service, tank installations, and respond to customer needs with safety and professionalism.

We offer a highly competitive compensation package, on-call incentives, and opportunities for training and career growth. CDL is preferred and VA Gas Fitter's License is strongly preferred; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A or B or willingness to obtain within first year.
• 2–3 years propane gas/oil service preferred; HVAC experience.
• VA Gas Fitter's License strongly preferred.
• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor visas.

Responsibilities

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Identify and correct leaks from tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed.
• Rotate on call status during evenings and weekends as needed.
• Perform tank maintenance and spare tanks located in the plants in preparation for putting them in service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Communicate proactively with the Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers.

We are looking for an experienced Service Technician to join the team at the Oilville, VA customer service center. Superior Plus Propane is a premier propane company with exceptional employees who look out for one another's safety. What You’ll Do:

• Propane service and tank installation.

What you bring:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• CDL Class A or B or willingness to obtain within first year of employment in the position
• 2-3 years propane gas/oil service preferred; HVAC
• VA Gas Fitter's License strongly preferred
• Legal Authorization to work in the US isrequired. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.

Pay Transparency:

The hourly rate for this position is $26.00 - $27.00 per hour , with flexibility for highly qualified candidates based on industry experience, CDL/Hazmat endorsements, and technical expertise .

Please note the compensation information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, geographical location, as well as market and business considerations.

This role will be eligible for overtime pay once scheduled work week hours are met.

When applicable, this role is eligible for an on-call incentive stipend.

This position is also eligible for a quarterly/annual incentive program.
