Job summary

The Rise at Regency in Henrico, VA is seeking a Service Technician to maintain apartment homes, complete work orders, and perform preventive maintenance. This full-time role includes on-call hours and a $1,000 sign-on bonus, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

You will service HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances, maintain common areas, and respond to emergencies. A valid driver's license and 2 years of maintenance experience are required, along with CFC/HVAC

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance experience in a residential community or similar setting.
• CFC and HVAC certifications are required.
• Strong background in plumbing, electrical systems, and general apartment maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between properties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment work orders and turnovers promptly.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance for HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Assist with upkeep of common areas, property buildings, and pool areas.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service in all interactions with residents and staff.
• Work with the team to ensure maintenance tasks are handled efficiently and professionally.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
• Manage daily checklists and troubleshooting of unexpected issues.

What You'll Do:

As a Service Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance of our The Rise at Regency property. Your hands-on expertise will cover everything from completing apartment work orders and turnovers to performing repairs on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances. You'll also be responsible for maintaining common areas, property buildings, and pool areas, contributing to the overall upkeep of the community.

What We're Looking For:

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a residential community or similar field
• CFC and HVAC certifications are required
• Strong background in plumbing, electrical systems, and general apartment maintenance
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel between properties if needed
• Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for hands-on work
