Job summary

Thalhimer Multifamily is seeking a Service Technician for the Southridge/Mountain View community in Culpeper, VA. This full-time role covers apartment maintenance, work orders, turnovers, and on-site upkeep, with on-call duties as needed.

You will repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances, maintain common areas and pool areas, and provide strong resident-focused service while collaborating with a team.

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance experience in a residential setting or similar field
• CFC and HVAC certifications are required
• Solid background in plumbing, electrical systems, and general apartment maintenance
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties if needed
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, hands-on mindset

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment work orders and turnovers promptly
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances
• Maintain common areas, property buildings, and pool areas

What You'll Do:

As a Service Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance of our Southridge/Mountain View property. Your hands-on expertise will cover everything from completing apartment work orders and turnovers to performing repairs on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances. You'll also be responsible for maintaining common areas, property buildings, and pool areas, contributing to the overall upkeep of the community.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a residential community or similar field
• CFC and HVAC certifications are required
