#1 Cochran Boardman Nissan in Ohio is seeking dedicated automotive service technicians to join our growing service team. You will perform repairs, run diagnostics, and ensure work meets dealership and manufacturer standards. We value training, teamwork, and a strong work ethic; ASE certifications are ideal and PA inspection/emissions licenses are a big plus. We offer extensive benefits and a supportive training culture.

Qualifications

• Automotive repair experience or willingness to train.
• ASE certifications are ideal.
• PA state inspection and emissions licenses are a plus.
• Experience with flat-rate pay is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicle systems according to repair orders and manufacturer standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

Qualifications

• We hire professionals with previous automotive service experience, but we LOVE to train and develop new technicians
• ASE certifications are ideal
• PA state inspection and emissions licenses a huge plus
• Strong automotive background with experience working flat-rate
• Strong teamwork skills
• Candidate should have tools necessary for the duties of the position
