Job summary

Cochran Chevrolet in Boardman, OH is seeking experienced Certified Service Technicians to join our team. We offer a signing bonus for experienced flat-rate technicians, paid time off from year one, competitive wages, a monthly production bonus, and a full range of benefits including a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive service experience required; we also train and develop new technicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor regarding needed additional work and provide time estimates.

#1 Cochran Chevrolet in Boardman is looking to add to our team of Certified Service Technicians! Conveniently located on Market Street, we are looking for experienced flat rate technicians to join our current service professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

Qualifications

• We hire professionals with previous automotive service experience, but we LOVE to train and develop new technicians
• ASE certifications are ideal
• Strong automotive background with experience working flat-rate
• Strong teamwork skills
• Candidate should have tools necessary for the duties of the position
