Job summary

Cochran Cars is seeking skilled automotive service technicians to join its growing team in the tri-state area. We value our 1,500+ team members and offer competitive wages and strong growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include repairing vehicles to dealership and manufacturer standards, performing diagnostic testing, and communicating repair plans and timelines to customers and the Service Advisor. ASE certifications are preferred, and PA emissions licenses are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive service and repair with ability to follow dealership and manufacturer standards.
• ASE certifications are ideal.
• PA state emissions and inspection licenses are a plus.
• Strong automotive background with experience working flat-rate.
• Diesel experience is a huge plus.
• Must have tools necessary for the duties of the position.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional services needed and provide time estimates for repairs.

Responsibilities

• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

Qualifications

• We hire professionals with previous automotive service experience, but we LOVE to train and develop new technicians
• ASE certifications are ideal
• PA state inspection and emissions license a huge plus
• Strong automotive background with experience working flat-rate
• Strong teamwork skills
• Candidate should have tools necessary for the duties of the position
