Position Summary

• The Commercial Kitchen Service Technician reports to the Sr. Service Manager.
• Located in Tampa, Fort Myers, or Titusville, Florida.
• Full-Time position.

TriMark is expanding our service team! The Service Technician provides intermediate-level service, repair, and installation of foodservice equipment at customer locations. The role requires strong customer interaction, technical skills, and independence. The position offers incentives, door-to-door pay, and tuition reimbursement for certifications that support career growth into a Senior Service Technician role.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Equipment Service: Complete on-site repairs and maintenance of standard kitchen equipment, primarily the Hot Side, and simple ice machines. Conduct troubleshooting, survey safety devices, manage inventory and tools, and perform independent work on foodservice equipment.
• Repair and Maintenance: Inspect equipment for safety, identify repairs, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Inventory Management: Maintain proper inventory levels and conduct periodic inventory checks with minimal variance.
• Communication: Provide detailed service reports, seek troubleshooting assistance when needed, and use field automation systems.
• Customer Interaction: Deliver professional service, understand customer needs, and foster positive relationships.
• Safety and Compliance: Operate vehicles safely and use PPE appropriately.
• Documentation: Interpret manuals and maintain inventory records.
• Additional Responsibilities: Update management on work status, assist in other tasks, and perform related duties as needed.

• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Strong troubleshooting and service skills for foodservice equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in foodservice equipment service or equivalent military/practical experience.
• Technical school completion preferred, with experience in refrigeration.
• EPA certifications Level 1 & 2 (universal preferred).
• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass background checks.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to bend, twist, kneel, and stand for long periods.
