Job Description

Apollo Marine, a family-owned and operated business, is seeking a Marine Technician to join our service department. We service all brands of outboard, inboard, and I/O engines. This full-time position offers year-round work with no off-season layoffs, Monday through Friday, with overtime available, health insurance, and 401k matching.

Key Tasks:
  1. Perform engine diagnostics and repairs on outboard, inboard, and I/O engines.
  2. Repair and install parts/accessories in boats, such as starters, alternators, impellers, steering cables, gauges, stereos, etc.
  3. Rig new engines on pontoon boats.
  4. Prepare new boats for delivery.
  5. Perform oil changes.
  6. Winterize/summarize engines and ballast systems.
  7. Accurately complete work outlined on work orders.
  8. Perform other related tasks as required.
Experience:
  • Marine Technician certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of 12VDC systems.
  • Ability to operate boats, pontoons, and jet skis on open water.
Requirements:
  • Own your own tools (specialty tools supplied).
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license.

Compensation ranges from $41,000 to $72,000 based on experience and work ethic.
