Job Summary

We seek a recent graduate or experienced technician to service and maintain heavy equipment in Benton Harbor. Training at our Marne location may be required. You will be provided a service truck to take home and will travel to customer sites for diagnostics, repairs, inspections, and record-keeping. You will perform work with limited supervision and handle complex repair tasks.

Essential Functions

• Repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Follow safety practices and procedures
• Mechanical design, fabrication, and electrical systems work
• Use of diagnostic tools and welding equipment
• Operate vehicles for diagnostics
• Maintain effective relationships with colleagues and clients
• Follow instructions and manufacturer specifications
• Conduct DOT inspections

Qualifications

• Obtain/maintain Class 'A' CDL
• Experience with heavy-duty vehicles preferred
• Experience in agriculture is a plus
• Willing to pass background checks, drug tests, and MVR
