Morgan Properties in Somerdale, NJ is seeking a Service Technician with a proactive approach to join our team. In this full-time role, you will troubleshoot and repair HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing to keep our apartment communities up to standards.

You will maintain interior and exterior areas, respond to service tickets, and communicate clearly with residents and staff. The position offers competitive hourly pay, benefits, a 401(k), paid time off, and an on-call component

Qualifications

• Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle.
• HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred.
• One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Service Technician

We are seeking a Service Technician with a "Whatever It Takes" approach to join our team! In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of our apartment community meet both company standards and applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot service issues, including HVAC, general appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates.

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
• Up to 50% rent discount
• Property staff shared renewal commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On‑call appreciation: $15 per day for holding the on‑call phone

Hours & Schedule

Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Paid rotating on‑call participation required. Must be available and prepared for emergency events.

Schedule subject to change based on business needs.

If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience, which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
