Job summary

Morgan Properties in Rock Hill, SC is hiring a Service Technician to maintain the apartment community and ensure facilities meet company standards and laws. This full-time role covers HVAC, appliance, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing troubleshooting, and upkeep of interior and exterior areas.

You will respond to maintenance tickets, communicate repairs to residents and staff, and require a valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

• Active HVAC/EPA/CFC certification preferred.
• One year of related maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot service issues including HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas per company standards and laws.
• Respond promptly to maintenance tickets and coordinate repairs.
• Communicate clearly with residents and office staff about repairs and updates.

Now hiring Service Technicians!

We are seeking a Service Technician with a "Whatever It Takes" approach to join our team! In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of this apartment community meet both company standards and applicable laws.

As The Service Technician, You Will Help To

• Be responsible for trouble‑shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates.

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $21.00 – $23.00
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• Paid rotating on-call participation required
• Must be available and prepared for emergency events
• Schedule subject to change based on business needs

What We’ll Expect From You

• Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle
• HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred
• One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
