Job summary

Morgan Properties is hiring Service Technicians to maintain a 359-unit community to company standards and resident expectations. The role includes troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on preventative maintenance and curb appeal.

This full-time position offers a $19.50–$22.50 hourly base pay, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, health benefits, a 401(k) match, paid time off, and on-call incentives.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• HVAC/EPA/CFC certifications preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and complete service requests including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and support day-to-day property upkeep.
• Complete make-readies and assist in maintaining curb appeal and community appearance.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws.
• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance service requests and resident concerns.
• Communicate clearly with residents, office staff, and maintenance leadership regarding repairs and updates.

In this full-time role, you'll help ensure the physical aspects of our 359-unit apartment community meet company standards, resident expectations, and applicable compliance requirements.

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $19.50 - $22.50 per hour

As The Service Technician, You Will

• Troubleshoot and complete service requests including, but not limited to, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs

Hours & Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Paid rotating on-call participation required
• Must be available and prepared for emergency events as needed
