Position Overview

The Residential Service Technician troubleshoots, configures, reconstructs, and programs security and automation systems. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Servicing fire, CO detection, networking, video solutions, and access control systems.
  2. Following procedures for wired/wireless connections.
  3. Testing system signals and communication with monitoring centers.
  4. Providing excellent customer service by explaining system functionalities and assisting customers.

Position Responsibilities
  • Locating and repairing damaged equipment or wiring.
  • Adjusting, repairing, or replacing equipment and testing for proper operation.
  • Reading blueprints and electrical plans for repairs.
  • Preparing reports for repairs and inspections.
  • Coordinating with authorities for inspections and installations.
Additional Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience installing and repairing ADT or comparable systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to read electrical and sprinkler plans.
  • Physical ability to stand, stoop, lift, climb, and crawl.
  • Valid driver's license required.
Compensation and Additional Information

The hourly pay range is $17.20 - $31.80, based on experience. We offer comprehensive benefits, including healthcare, 401(k), disability coverage, life insurance, and paid time off. The role is full-time, employment type is permanent, and industry is Security and Investigations.
