Job summary

NOV is seeking a Service Technician I to support the maintenance, inspection, and assembly of Downhole tools in our Texas operations. You will follow Service Quality procedures and complete necessary training to ensure safe and efficient production support.

This role requires basic technical skills and a willingness to learn across product lines. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent and up to 2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-2 years in related field.
• Experience demonstrated and recorded which is applicable to the service of pertinent tools.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all HSEQ requirements.
• Complete all relevant company web-based training in a timely manner without deviation from Service Quality procedure.
• To complete demands of the supervisor pertaining to machine production.
• Participate in other product specific training to gain knowledge for additional future technical skills assessment.
• Responsible for the efficient and safe operation of equipment to perform duties required.
• Interact with personnel in other departments and disciplines.
• Participate in action plans for new projects as defined by supervisor.
• Maintain the work environment as outlined by the supervisor.
• Attend formal training, per product line, for pertinent tool training courses at a NOV training facility.
